Despite the optimistic title Life Is Full Of Possibilities is a fantastic but quiet and often somberly depressing album. A potent blend of mood setting acoustic guitar and almost ambient electronic compositions; the shortest description that can be accurately given would likely be 'beautiful'. Most listeners will find it ideal activities like sitting alone in the dark after your lover tells you they hate you, or as a melancholy musical road to sleep.

Of particular note is the track (This Is) The Dream Of Evan and Chan, both for it being the most cheerful song on the album and for the vocals being sung by Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie. It was this collaboration that led Tamborello and Gibbard to form The Postal Service.

These two EPs collect 8 new Dntel tracks (3 on After Parties 1 and 5 on After Parties 2) which are a bit more minimalist and experimental in nature, all of them instrumental, and feature (to the best of our “knowledge”) a list of guest contributors numbering exactly zero.
