Lastly there is the basecode language restriction as I do not know of anyone we can program a chip for an OBD2 ecu to read. Obd2 chip tuning programed. I have seen emulators made to allow the use of a 28 pin EEPROM but I am weary as to how they work and how reliable the company behind them is. He cannot change the fact that there is a physical limitation of the materials needed to chip an OBD2 ecu, and skill when dealing with surface mounts. On top of that there is no cheap hardware to read/write the chips.
